Accessibility Audit
Sidenote can run a WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility check on your HTML documents. The audit scans for common issues — missing alt text, broken heading hierarchy, vague link text, unlabelled form fields — and reports them directly alongside your review annotations.
This is available on all plans for HTML documents.
Running an audit
Open any HTML document in the review page and look for the Audit panel in the sidebar. Click Run accessibility scan to start the check. Results appear in a few seconds, grouped by severity.
Understanding results
Each finding includes a severity level, a description of the issue, and a suggested fix. Click on any finding to highlight the affected element in the document.
